2017 Rounds Played Through 4/15/2017

  1. 1. How many rounds will you have played in 2017 when the sun sets on 4/15/2017?

Yes, today is the 14th so the question asks for a projection but I suspect most of us know whether we will play today or tomorrow.

In the Soggy Mitten, we were blessed with a mild winter and the ground was rarely covered in snow.  I played on New Year's day and haven't looked back since.  A trip to Texas in March helped, too.  I will be at 22 or 23 after Saturday.

How about everyone else?

My vote included practice rounds and 9 holes.

Unfortunately, I can only play about 3 or 4 rounds per week. I thought I could get in 9 to 10 like I did for 2 years ago. In fact, I'm playing kind of awful at this point just because I can't get out enough.

So, let's say 3 full rounds a week on average times 3 weeks a month for 4 months gives me only about 36 to 40 full rounds by mid April.

EDIT: No wonder what I did for 2 years made me sick of golf. . . I think I played over 350 rounds a year for 2 years? :-P

I included the practice rounds I've had at my par 3 course, my first time out was on Presidents day in Feb.

I dont have quite as much time as some other people on here to get out and play, usually just one round each weekend if I'm lucky, and occasionally a weeknight round.

Although I do have trips coming up to Las Vegas and a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and I will be golfing in both locations so excited for those trips!

I've played 81 holes so far this year. But I've been practicing more or less every week. Now's the time when I'll start getting back more into playing golf. Tournament season starts tomorrow for me, and I'll start playing a lot more frequently.

I was just taking to @Golfingdad about this earlier this week. Tomorrow morning will be my 37th round of the year. I looked back and I have averaged 140ish rounds a year the last 3 years.

With the unusual mild winter I have played more rounds this year than other winters.
I'm somewhere above the fifty count played.
I began recording rounds on game golf March 1st this year and I have 22.
Jan. & Feb. I'm guessing I had over thirty with 14 rounds played on a golf trip and at my home course.

Tomorrow I will play my 8th round of the year.  Still right on par for about 30-35 or so for the year.

6-10 for me. The weather has been there but with a 2 year old and a wife in nursing school along with us both working...time has been a factor for me.

I'm around 15 including 9 hole rounds.  Not too bad...I'm happy with that.  Much more than last year.
