I've played that course. Its a little par 3 track, couple of 4's, running through some cranberry bogs in Carver MA. They do have a bar, not I think alcohol played any role in this.

Hmmm eye for an eye, finger for a....  I would want more than "mayhem" charged...

I wonder what kind of sentence "mayhem" carries with it? Is there felony mayhem or is mayhem just a misdemeanor?  😜 

I recently got a slap on the wrist by my mens' association because I called a guy a sandbagger and he complained I was being mean to him (true story). At least he came away with all his digits, it could have been worse!

Threatening someone is assault?  I thought assault involved physical contact.

battery:  the crime or tort of unconsented physical contact with another person, even where the contact is not violent but merely menacing or offensive.

assault: an act, criminal or tortious, that threatens physical harm to a person, whether or not actual harm is done.
