I used the cart basket once, luckily I wasn't far when I returned to get it. Now I place it on top of clubs or hang it on alignment sticks where I see it.

Either, but I think I’ve lost one leaving it in the cart basket

I stuff the cover in the slot where the club was.

I just have a driver cover. It has a magnetic closure so I attach it to any club it grabs. Then replace after each driver use.

Took the putter cover off on day one, threw it away. (As I do with all clubs) It is chipped and beat up, other than the face. Love my old putter

Most of the time I set the cover on the seat as I am walking away from the cart. Just makes sense to me since I will always notice it prior to driving away.

Only that rotten driver gets to wear a hat in my bag. I truly think messing with a putter cover would drive me insane.

Considering a new 5W this year and that might mean screwing with another cover.

I use a trolley most of the time and have my woods on top. That provides a convenient little slot to jam the driver cover in there while on the tee box. Have never had any problems losing the thing.

This ^^^^^

My concern was I'd forget them some day, but so far I haven't.  So far a basket-full of headcovers has been kind of hard to miss :)

The only problem is being careful putting irons back in the bag.  With the headcovers off the woods it's far too easy to ding the edge of one if you just start the shaft of an iron in the bag and drop it in.  Ask me how I know :-(

Driver and 3w covers go onto an alignment stick, and putter gets stuffed into the slot or sits on my towels. I used to lose my putter headcover a lot as a kid but the only one I lost, within the last 10yrs, was a 2-iron headcover, which I didn’t really want anyway. 😁

I don't have a putter cover, and the wood covers just get tossed on the seat of the cart usually.

Maybe one day, there will be the option for rfid tags, like your Tile, to be sewn into your headcover.

Far too late for that.

I picked "other" because there's no "all of the above, depending on circumstances."

Though almost never "pocket" or "Take off before round and replace after round" with the driver or woods.

I take the cover off my putter and store it in the bag before the round starts and put it back on after it's over, regardless of walking or riding.

For the other clubs with a head cover, if walking (with a push cart), I put the head on top of the bag and get it back onto the club after the shot, as I start walking away. If I am riding, the first time I need that club, I throw the head cover in the cart's basket and leave it there until the round is over. Sometimes, I have one club (very rarely two) with the head covers still on at the end of the round...

For some reason the putter cover always goes into the cart basket.  Maybe because I’m pulling my towel out of the basket to take to the green?

All others just get tossed on the ground.

As far as I can remember, I’ve never lost a head cover of any kind.
