Could be fun. Superman theme song. John Williams. Amazing. Always puts me in a good mood. My 5 and 7 year old even love it.

Hawaii Five-0 is good.   So is Magnum PI.   Completely agree with Superman as well as being great.

However my all time favorite is the James Bond theme.

Mission Impossible theme by Lalo Schifrin. It is in a minor key and in 5/4 time, both of which suggest tension and mystery. 

Another great one was the theme music to the Patrick Mcgoohan ....great surf music!

The 70's IMO was the best time for show theme songs. I also really liked the theme from S.W.A.T. As much as the theme from Mission Impossible suggested tension and mystery. The theme from S.W.A.T. let you know something exciting was about to happen.

Agreed. Even though the shows themselves can feel dated, the music tended to be well crafted and fit the show. The "A-Team" also had terrific theme music....you heard it and knew that you were in for a rollicking adventure.

Hill Street Blues from the 80s

Six Feet Under a little more present day. 

The Leftovers season 1 more present day. 

Succession, Severance, Pachinko present day. 

Movies - Welcome… to Jurassic Park

The theme to The DaVinci Code is relatively unknown compared to Zimmer’s other works but it invokes such a sense of wonder and mystery. 

Haven’t watched many movies since the start of the pandemic so my most recent favorite is Phantom Thread composed by Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood. He even posted the actual score for the piano to his Instagram account.
 

 

 

 


This is The Leftovers’ actual theme song to most people.

How about the theme to Ellery Queen or one of my all time favorites The Pink Panther? Great jazzy theme songs.

@boogielicious great calls! I had forgotten about the Ellery Queen theme and Pink Panther is a classic. Henry Mancini's music with the great tenor sax playing of Plas Johnson, who was a top session musician in LA for decades.

Those Were the Days from All in the Family.

And the theme songs for the Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, and Green Acres.  I still remember all the words to all of these.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.

      Yes, but you don't live in the UK, so you have no idea what we think about it here. It's a very different mindset here, to demonstrate the fact you should consider 9 out of 10 games we play here are Stableford, whereas you you almost solely play medal. Neither is right or wrong, it's just different  I'm trying to avoid swearing here. Once again, and for the 1000th time, I understand the system, I just don't agree with it. Is there anything wrong with that? PS, I do not have the time or patience to post my results, especially as they prove nothing  That's because 99% of the posters are Yanks
