This has been one of the snowiest winters here in a long time. We've already surpassed the average snowfall for the entire season and there's 2 1/2 months to go.

Same here.

And February has been very cold. It hasn’t been above freezing for a week.

I feel sorry for many of you.  In SE Michigan we typically have 14 inches in January and 18 inches in February.  I do not have an exact number but based on what I have shoveled we are well below average, maybe a total of 10 inches at my house for all January and the first half of February.  The largest storm for us was a little over a week ago.  It is cold, but not the -11 as @Yukarireports in Colorado.  Still, outdoor golf is not an option right now.  I am hoping for some rounds in March.  Did not get that last year, first due to weather then due to COVID.

Strange, in Michigan we seem to have had a lighter than avg snow year, so far anyway. Golf at a course is not even an option although.

So it looks like Sunday will be good for you.  Just remember your Footjoy snowshoes, and your Sta-Soft snow gloves.

I'm 66 now, and I've got to have certain conditions met before I go out on the golf course.

45* with some sun and hardly a wind = ok

below 45, I'll wait for spring. When you get older, at least for me, your tolerance levels diminish.

This winter has been extra hard for everybody, I get through by purchasing items related to golf. I have to be careful with my spending, don't want to add up too much debt on the card.

Me and my big mouth.  Had a little snow, @ 2", this morning but expecting another 6-9 by tomorrow morning.  Still not like some areas have gotten this year so I am not going to complain too much, but I will whine a little.

If I'm trapped indoors because of the snow I wine as well.

Some of you guys are wimps. Snowiest winters? Cold? C'mon… 😉 It's still in the teens. Erie had, what, nearly 200" of snow the one year and the other year we didn't get high temps into double digits for like three weeks straight. 😄

This winter has been nothing so far.

@iacas here on Long Island, NY we were spoiled for 2 years of very mild winters. It sucks because of the snow. Temp wise not so bad. Still snow sucks.

We usually do not have winter in these parts but this year has been different.  Not that it has been exceptionally cold...just wet all the time.  I haven't played this year.

    • Why wouldn't it have? It's not like you were playing it as a 145yd par 5 and made a 2 or something.  Or not like it was playing 50yds to a temporary green or something either.

    • I know you guys were discussing this like a year ago. But, ironically I just had this discussion with my brother-in-law. We literally just did one of these. I'd always used the "Slow-Cook, Rest, and Sear" Method. But my bother-in-law was convinced the "5-Min/lb, 500 degree" method was the way. So, we gave it a go. I have to say it came out great.  I have a 25 year old, electric oven, GE brand... Not sure if that matters, but it came out great. ... Of course we stressed that nobody was to open the oven.   I don't make these all that often so, I'm not sure if I can fully recommend one method or the other, because without doing a Pepsi Challenge, I'd say both ways come out great. 👍😁👍
