I've fought that battle many times over the years, but now it's moot.  There are only 7 golfers with a longer PGA Tour winning span than Tiger's 24 years, and his next win will bring that down to four -- Snead, Floyd, Mickelson, and DLIII.

But seriously, Tiger's Masters victory in 2019 did a lot to help the "longevity" BS, for sure.

I found it interesting he kept moving the tee down too. I normally keep it in place, but I can see why he does that.

Tiger Woods shot a 69 playing the North Course at Torrey Pines on Thursday, leaving him 3 shots behind leaders Keegan Bradley and Sebastian Cappelen. It was his first round in the 60s on the North Course since 2013.

I just noticed this piece on his equipment. In it, you see his putter head and the wear mark. I have no idea where the sweet spot should be, I guess it depends on the putter. It's closer to the heel than I would have imagined.

Here's a hint on how to find the sweet spot on Tiger Wood's putter.

Look for the wear mark.  Case closed.  Nothing you speculate matters.  Don't question it. Accept that he is far more knowledge and self-aware of his golf game than you are.  Don't be delusional.  Stop.

      I’ve got a 2021 phantom x 5 Cameron which has picked up a couple of scratches on the head this year which can only be seen under a certain light. Obviously I’d like to keep it as mint as possible so I’m thinking about using a club refurbisher I’ve found online who seem legit. Can’t decide whether to get it back to the original finish or go for a blackout finish. This putter was a birthday present so I’m never going to get rid of it but at the same time I don’t want to do anything to lower the value. What’s everyone’s thoughts?

      Day 23. Worked on tempo and center face contact with 7 iron and driver in a howling wind in my driveway. Trying to eliminate toe hits which cause hooks. I’m really slowing down the backswing near the top to keep my focus on the ball. It also helps with my priority piece of swinging down and back with my hand path.

      Maybe I took it wrong, but the comment about Tin Cup made me think that they were mocking the use of training aids. I think in Tin Cup, every scene about training aids were like, WTF are you using these things for.

      I started watching the coverage (I recorded it). Rory was using a Smart Ball to keep the club/arms in front of him more in the backswing, and a ProSENDR to get a neutral wrist condition at the top, they said. Nobilo quickly added that Justin Rose has used the Smart Ball in the past. I think they're a little surprised he's using it on a Saturday, but… it wasn't too bad a reaction.
