Made quails with grapes today. Served with some  Swiss rosti on the side. Happy with the result :-)

Y'all aren't adventurous enough. I'd try Nutella pizza. It's like Nutella breadsticks sans dipping.

Too many hashtags though.

I was going to post a picture of the pizza of the evening, but we ate it up, so here is one from some other day.

24 hour retard in the fridge, a pretty simple non-cooked sauce with diced tomatoes and a little bit spices that also sat in the fridge 24 hours, buffalo mozzarella and topping. Baked on a stone in a regular oven at 275C for 6-7 minutes.

The Nutella thing is probably good, but I wouldn't call it a pizza.

The best pizza place near me is actually a stationary food truck. I went today and got a pepperoni and mushroom pie. They've also got a really good traditional pizza called the fresco, with a wet center and everything (which is tough to eat but oh so delicious).

Anyway, here's today's:

Can't remember if I have ever replied to this thread, but I am the worlds fussiest eater. I am a vegetarian through principal, so I don't eat meat and fish. The following foods I just don't like, cheese, eggs, mushrooms, cabbage, sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, french beans, green beans, turnips, parsnips, swede, and beetroot. Apart from that I eat most things

In my bag (Motocaddy Light)

Taylormade Burner driver, Taylormade 4 wood, 3 x Ping Karsten Hybrids, 6-SW Ping Karsten irons with reg flex graphite shafts. Odyssey putter, 20 Bridgestone e6 balls, 2 water balls for the 5th hole, loads of tees, 2 golf gloves, a couple of hand warmers, cleaning towel, 5 ball markers, 2 pitch mark repairers, some aspirin, 3 hats, set of waterproofs, an umbrella, a pair of gaiters, 2 pairs of glasses. Christ, it's amazing I can pick the bloody thing up !!

Most of these. They're OK. Not my best in class. This piece is sorely lacking. It misses so much. Twitter, social media, is better suited to cover this sort of thing. You ask people who frequent food trucks and you'll get a ton of different answers. There are pop up stores and transient trucks that are there for an instant (or one day a week) and gone too.

Here's an example of a social media account - it's not the best, but then when you rathole into other accounts, other lists, you'll start getting a lay of the land.

It's not uncommon to be disappointed by trucks and fairs, I'm not posting the strikeouts, like a place that used store bought frozen dumplings and hyped them up with fancy marketing.

    • Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15. Did he do any of these things? TIGER WOODS' AMATEUR VICTORIES YEAR WIN(S) 1984 10-and- under Junior World Golf Championships Boys    1985 10-and- under Junior World Golf Championships Boys    1988 Boy's 11-12 Junior World Golf Championships   1989 Boy's 13-14 Junior World Golf Championships   1990 Boy's 13-14 Junior World Golf Championships, Insurance Youth Golf Classic   1991 U.S. Junior Amateur, Boys 15–17 Junior World Golf Championships, Orange Bowl International Junior Look at some other AJGA Players of the Year. How many of these names do you recognize? A few, for sure. I assure y'all, I'm not trying to pee in your Cheerios. I just don't get what the point is. Okay. I get that, then. Thanks.
    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
    • Just stumbled onto the article.  Totally random and thought it might be interested to hear other thoughts. maybe I am tired of all the LIV crap and  this just caught my attention.
    • Day 1: Spent some time hitting some balls. Working on my hips and a “soft” and straight trail arm.
    • Slight digression on the way to my point. Back in the day there were a lot of people who said that Tiger won because of “the Tiger effect” where people pushed too hard and made mistakes trying to catch him and fell by the wayside. I thought that was BS. It was just that he was that much better than them. I don’t think anything has changed my mind on that.    The hype about Miles Russell is very limited. I’ve seen nothing about him outside of some fairly hardcore golf websites. But I think that the reason those people are talking about him is because he is very good. Same as Tiger. And like I said he just broke one of Tiger’s records. That gets hardcore golf fans to pay attention.
