I voted no. I don't buy kiwi fruit. I only really eat them if they are part of other dishes and they are peeled then.

I normally don't eat kiwi.  If it is served with another dish, I'll eat it but otherwise, I abstain.

No, but if I'm too tired or lazy or making a smoothie, the skin it is but I'll slice off a little off the top.

When was a kid, kiwis were typically about 30% smaller than what we see now. They also had a very unique, slightly tart taste. Now they are gigantic and taste like a hybrid of a banana and a strawberry. Sad.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

Me neither and the idea seemed pretty gross.  But I happened to have a kiwi on the counter so, what the heck ...

Ah, too bad… no thumbs up here. You earned one though. :-)

Years and years ago a girl and I bonded over the fact that we both ate the skin on kiwis.

That wasn't the Miami Dolphins cheerleader. Aside from thinking she was hot, we had nothing in common.

If they can make grapes taste like cotton candy or gumdrops I'm sure they can get it to taste like it did you just have to find it and pay more.

I haven't eaten a kiwi in so long I don't even remember how I'd do it.

Which, in turn, is probably why I haven't eaten a kiwi in so long. It's a vicious cycle.

The trick to peeling off the skin quickly is w/a spoon, there are YT vids that demo it.

We occasionally have a kiwi mixed with other fresh fruit and the skin is always removed.  I never gave eating the skin a thought but I will try it just to see what it tastes like.

That is probably the biggest benefit of this - other than rinsing it, there's nothing to do.  It doesn't have a pit so you just eat the whole danged thing.  (I didn't eat the one end where the stem connected)

I love kiwi's but never ate the skin, never gave it a thought.  I'll try it the next time i have one.

Right, I don't eat that part either.

Nothing more satisfying than looking down after lunch and seeing nothing but a table.
