From the visuals in the promo it seems like they are encouraging the use of cell phones and wireless devices at Tour events! Is this knuckling under?

I was watching GC last night and saw 3 of these horrible commercials.  OMG they are SO bad!  Worse than I could have thought.

Before the New Live Under Par commercials they might want to throw up a warning and say "View Under the Influence!"

Now having seen it a number of times, it is starting to grow on me.  Still like the "these guys are good" better but the "live under par" isn't too bad.

I wasn't sure I could hate it more than already.  But each week it just seems worse and worse and more ridiculous.  STAHHHHP

Every time I see it, I think of a parent or uncle trying to be cool and talk to kids about the instagrams.

It has to be really weird-sounding for anyone outside of the world of golf.

"Live Under Par" doesn't sound all that good unless you have an idea what the golf-specific meaning of par is. Otherwise, it sort of sounds like Live Poorer or Live Below the Average.

The new promotion reminds me of the annoying crap at the beginning of video games.

In der bag:
Cleveland Hi-Bore driver, Maltby 5 wood, Maltby hybrid, Maltby irons and wedges (23 to 50) Vokey 59/07, Cleveland Niblick (LH-42), and a Maltby mallet putter.                                                                                                                                                 "When the going gets tough...it's tough to get going."

I dislike them equally.  They both suck.

These guys are good is just dumb.

Live under par literally makes no sense.

But some ad agency was well payed to come up with it, and I wasn't, so I guess I am the dumb one.

Always remember, the same country that invented golf and called it a game, invented bag pipes and called it music.

    • Day 9, May 13.  After work, I went to my practice room for a dozen balls (two sessions of a half dozen each).  I may do more later, but I wanted to make sure I posted here too.  Same priority as yesterday, with the arms lifting.
    • Day 263 6-13 Setup alignment stick station for hands off body drill. Worked on wrist arch as well. Working on not hitting the stick 😀
    • Day 64 (13 May 26) - last practice of golf team for the school golf team….got to hit a few balls while working with the kids.
    • Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.
    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)
