I mean, how often do you see a cyclist on course/range? Runners, yes. Anyone catch what the cyclist was saying? You ride through a golf course you take your chances.

If you’re not golfing, you shouldn’t be on the golf course!

There is a course near London some of my friends play where the golfer don’t have the right of way and have to wear yellow safety vests. Apparently, this is fairly common over there.

But I agree, it is very dangerous to be on a golf course.

There's a course by me that the county took over from a private club as a "park" so people will jog, walk their dogs, etc. I don't know why they do it honestly but they're allowed to.

I see walkers, not bikes yet, on several courses around here. The courses are posted no trespassing. Some people sheesh!

Wait until the first person gets hit by a golf ball for the lawsuits to start flying…

That's probably what they're waiting for. Apparently there was a big fight over whether to take over the course or not and some of the local residents were really against it. They probably want somebody to get hurt so they can sue and turn the place into a park proper.

The thing of it is, with so many courses being built in and around housing developments, there are roads through them. There's a course near here where you tee off across a road!

I have played a couple of courses like that. They're not exclusive to courses on housing developments.

There is a course about 20 minutes from my house that has #18 crossing the road into the clubhouse.   There is a big sign for the drivers to watch for golfers, who have the right of way.

Trash bag.  So he's either a really really bad father or just a stupid cyclist towing his crap around.

The course I play at most often is right off of a trail that a lot of people run, walk, or bike on. It's pretty frequent that someone get off the trail and wander onto the course. Bikers are rare, but they do happen. We also get people fishing in the ponds on the course. Really stupid and dangerous to do any of those things on a golf course, though. Especially since they can appear out of nowhere.

Gotts Park in Leeds, West Yorkshire is a public space, not just a golf course. I played there the other summer and there were dog walkers and the like.

I hit a tee shot into some trees and ended up hitting my second next to a young couple snogging (making out) on a picnic rug. They didn't even stop to compliment me on how good a recovery shot it was. Some people eh?!!
