Still 6.7.  But my anti-handicap has rocketed to 12.5, and 7 of those highest scores are the next 7 to fall off.  My scoring average for my last 10 rounds is 79.5 vs 84.3 for the prior 10 rounds.  Assuming my play continues, I'm afraid that I'm on the verge of a precipitous drop.

I need to make the most of these next 2 weeks playing with my buddies before that happens!  ;-)

27.4 -> 27.8

almost have 20 scores now in my list and although the handicap is rising, the game in improving. I think this might be the peak handicap and it's downhill from here.

Just re-established my GHIN handicap in March.  The handicap is trending down.  Found a driver I'm really comfortable with and my cap has gone down from a 13.1 in April to a 10.8, buoyed by a 77 & 79 at my new home course.  Goal is to get the cap down far enough to try to qualify for some Texas amateur events (one has a limit of 8.4, so still have some work to do)

Still trending down.  10.1 as of today.  Apparently, adjusting to this thing called 'marriage' affects your golf game.

LOL

Left my driver home yesterday. Had my 9th best HC game. Hit 10 of 10 FWs. HC didn't move. but...no slice stress.

Down to 16.4. Posted four rounds so far this year and every one of them has counted; dropped my handicap 0.4 strokes since the start of the season.

Much better start this year (minus not playing in April) than last year. Mean differential for the first four rounds last year was 10 points higher than they are this year.

After going up from an index of 10 to an index of 13, my rounds sort of leveled out and now my index is 12.5 exactly. I used to play better but I'm expecting horrible scores during a swing change.

I am 16,5 but I´ve been playing some horrible rounds lately. I am able to make some really good strikes, but on the other hand I make 8 the next hole. My biggest shortcoming is the Driver yet. All my second shots are really long.

I have not had a handicap in about four years. No longer play in tournaments so it would be a waste of time. The last twenty years I have held a handicap ranging from 5.0 to 12.4. Still shoot in the 80's on a tough course so probably around the 12-13 range now.

Down .5 to 6.2.  Another significant drop likely looming with the next revision as poor scores fall off.

This could get expensive.  :~(

Bit of a slip this revision, haven't played much in the way of postable rounds so I'm up to 16.7.

Managed two rounds that I could post on this go-around and took off .3. Would have been more but my best-ever round (a legit 82) was solo.

    • Feel like you are left side dominant. Keep the back of your glove running through impact. Keeps leading edge down without digging. You will pick them clean with some zip if the grass is nice and generally acceptable results off anything less than ideal. Works with both hingy or dead hand pitches and chips.
    • Day 52 (30 Apr 26) - Had planned a solo round, got invited to be part of trio that included a fmr mini tour pro.  Was fun playing back a set of tees and having to stay in my game plan. Both were very engaging and encouraging in the round.  A good day in working through and making smarter shot choices.
    • Day 576 - 2026-04-30 Put my playlist on and slowed down a little as things were meh. Mostly got to an exaggerated P6 and hit from there.
    • I mean, a golfer is trespassing and damaging property. So, golf rules don’t supersede state laws. 😉 Like, if it isn’t marked and is off golf property. The right thing to do is take an unplayable lie or take stroke and distance.  Also, this is a liability for the course. The homeowner could easily say the course is liable for damage done because they knowingly didn't mark their boundaries which allowed golfers to trespass and damage property.
    • Interestingly enough, if the course (the Committee in Rules terms) doesn't mark the boundaries, there is nothing out of bounds.  I realize that neighboring homeowners would take a dim view of golfers whacking balls from their backyards, but that's what the Definition of Out of Bounds requires. "All areas outside the boundary edge of the course as defined by the Committee."
