There's a little old-fashioned steakhouse in Southern Pines, NC called Beefeaters.  At one time, and maybe still, they sold tee shirts that read

"I didn't get to the top of the food chain just to become a vegetarian"

We've all encountered these types and if it isn't veganism, it's something else they're on about, these people are me me me solipsists. I enjoy a good steak and eat meat and would be hard press to go meatless and am big on veggies and other foods as well. The effect of meat production on the environment is not good. Why is it we have to totally eliminate meat from our diets? Eating less of it is not as unreasonable.

I grew up on a cattle ranch.  You know where I fall on the meatless menu programs.  But I like veggies and fruit too.

I am totally fine with vegans.  Silver and blue are not my fave; but who likes anyone else's bathroom?

What I don't like about the "veggies" and the "vegans" is their holier than thou attitude! Eat whatever you want, just leave me alone!

So true. At least of the preaching variety of foodist.

I use old Taylor Made clubs from eBay and golf shops.

I have no problem with eating fruits and veggies, though I have and will eat any meat.  Nothing is off limits.

My basic problem is with the preaching of any group, be it veggies or the religious kind.  Don't tell me what to eat or do.  F*** OFF and leave me alone to do my own thing

I'd be a vegan if not for my uncontrollable appetite for whale meat - the calves of course. The adult whales are full of toxins and a bit too gamey for my tastes.

Funny.

I think you might be the only Inuit golfer in America.  How's the golf up there in Barrow?

Humans are omnivores. That is why we survived as a species.

My only issue with beef is how expensive it is relative to chicken and pork. It seems to have doubled in price the last couple of years. IIRC, it had something to do with drought issues.
