Jason Day Disrespecting

Not sure if any other traditionally minded golfers were displeased with Jason Day, and his disrespect for Si Woo Kim during the Trophy presentation at the Players? I think that someone from the PGA Tour should have pulled him aside and schooled him on proper attire. I can't believe that Finchem would have accepted a t -shirt and jeans. He looked as if he was going to an after event BBQ. 

Show some respect, Jason. You throw away more golf shirts and slacks than the average guy will have in a lifetime, how about a jacket at least?

I have no issues with it. He didn't look ragged with what he was wearing. 

Im not certain the PGA Tour has a dress code for the golfers after the tournament. 

It sounds a bit old fashioned to me to say he needs to be wearing dress pants and a polo. I think his choice of clothes there is better than the stuff the tour let John Daly wear the past few years with the loud pants. :-P

No big deal. Day is just a walking advertisement for Nike. Glad Kim won it. It's his moment.

I don't think in that moment, or even now a couple days later Kim or Day...or anyone for that matter is thinking "he/I should have been more respectful and dressed up"...besides you maybe.  His round was over quite some time before Kims was, he was probably sweaty so he changed and put this on.  I don't think many people have an issue with this..

Ha. 

If I read the scoreboard correctly, JD shot an 80 to finish T60. And. if I were him, I'd probably have pounded down about 15 beers between the end of my round and that trophy presentation. You'd be lucky if I were still wearing pants.

Whats the point? Should Day wear a suit? This is from one golfer to the other, don't overdress compared to the guy who wins. Try to make him feel comfortable and thats what Day did. Kuddo's for Day.

I saw the pic after the tournament and did think the attire was kind of odd.  Just a little too casual and a walking billboard for Nike.  But oh well.  Its not like it was a major or anything.  Just last years champ passing off the trophy.

I wouldn't call it disrespectful but I wasn't a fan. Day is the defending champ, he's basically acting as a representative for the tournament, he's presenting the trophy and he dresses like that? Not classy IMO.

What did you expect?  He's Australian.  If we learned nothing else from watching Crocodile Dundee, we learned that Aussies have no fashion sense, right @Shorty? :-D
