I had a feeling she'd miss it, but then I thought "oh man, c'mon, it's TWO FEET."

You could tell she was going to miss it mid-downstroke.

Her buddies should have said that's a gimme. I never have to putt those. You know - because you don't want to hold up he group behind you, it's a given , etc....

Man, that was an awful stroke. Agree with @iacas - you could have paused before she hit the ball and knew she was missing.

How bad is your putting stroke that a 2 footer is going to hold up groups behind you?! I know this is tongue in cheek!

Yea those are harder to make when you have to replace your ball correctly ;-)

No, seriously, she had an incredible season, and I'm still a fan. Hopefully she builds on it for 2018. I think she probably will.

Well if you treat it like the pros that can take a long time! It's not the putt it self.

Looks shorter than 2 feet to me - seriously it looks like about 2-3 rotations to get to the hole so maybe a foot or less.
Not that I haven't missed some of those, but usually with more break. Terrible push or misread, ether way .... OUCH!

Damn, what a tough break for her.

Is it a tough break, or a really shitty stroke?

Idk a bad break to me is rolling into a divot after landing in the middle of the fairway.

It wasn't a foot or less. TV coverage showed it and I can record it from a better angle if I want, but… some quickie pixel math puts it at at least 18".

    • Day 9, May 13.  After work, I went to my practice room for a dozen balls (two sessions of a half dozen each).  I may do more later, but I wanted to make sure I posted here too.  Same priority as yesterday, with the arms lifting.
    • Day 263 6-13 Setup alignment stick station for hands off body drill. Worked on wrist arch as well. Working on not hitting the stick 😀
    • Day 64 (13 May 26) - last practice of golf team for the school golf team….got to hit a few balls while working with the kids.
    • Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.
    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)
