This better not be one of those days where Tiger makes 16 pars, a birdie and a bogey.

What would they delay because of? Wind or lightning?

The chance of rain, at Augusta tomorrow, is currently 90%.  Unless the front takes a left turn...we are most likely looking at a Monday finish.

In der bag:
Cleveland Hi-Bore driver, Maltby 5 wood, Maltby hybrid, Maltby irons and wedges (23 to 50) Vokey 59/07, Cleveland Niblick (LH-42), and a Maltby mallet putter.                                                                                                                                                 "When the going gets tough...it's tough to get going."

Poulter's driver swing is not a thing of grace, but it did the job.

At least it clears up Colin's weekend.

I'm actually gong to go out and play. Got a 520 tee time for 9 holes. Too bad I can't get out earlier

Genuinely don't think there's anyone better in the world at those dead handed wedge swings

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

What's in the bag: Callaway X2 Hot Driver, Titleist 915F 3 wood, X2 Hot 3 Hybrid, 3, 5-AW Apex Pro irons, 54*, 58* Cleveland RTX, Odyssey Versa 1 Putter

How much rain is expected? I don't understand foreign rain predictions. Here I'm used to predictions in millimeters per hour.

Tiger might be (is?) the best iron player of all time.

What a day for Simpson so far. Will be interesting to see how far he's back at the end of the day, but an incredible scorecard either way.

Just looked at the leaderboard for the first time today. See what happens when you don’t twist your ankle? If Woods doesn’t win it, Finau would be my second.

Of all time, certainly, but I'm not sure I'd put his iron play clearly top in the world as things stand. His approach play from inside 150 though, I definitely would. Not that I have any statistical proof - just what I remember seeing!

I hope not. Was going to take Finau in my pool and at the last second put in Casey. Ugh. Could be a $500 mistake.

Too bad Joe is such a dead beat caddie. Tiger obviously not making the nice smooth swing with his driver he did yesterday. It's rushed and wild. Needs to calm down and get that controlled swing back. If not, here come the bogies and par scrambles....out of it.

    • Going to a Friendsgiving tomorrow and I am bringing a no-bake cheesecake. I make the crust too big, but I think it turned out good. The filling is really good.
    • Sure, but how was your alignment? 🙂 Day 53 - 2024-11-22 Mirror work after getting back home. Wife is a superstar for her career/job/whatever.
    • I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
    • Day 128: played 9. Nice little even 9, with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys.
    • @DeadMan, I think your approach makes sense. As @dennyjones said, consistency is the key.
