One of my wedges. Either my LW, or my AW. I can use my PW, and or SW for 90% of the shots I would use the other two for.

Either 4, 5 or 6 iron depending on which way the wind is blowing. I would only use the longer irons on the par 3 and it depends on wind direction Two of the par 3's I can see before getting out on the course and see the pin placement.

One of my gap wedges.  I carry two, I figure I can make good with just one if I need to.

I’d say 4 iron or gap wedge. I really only use either for one shot. I can choke down on my 3H to get the 4 iron distance. The gap wedge is only used for a 90 yard shot right now. I can do that with my PW if I back off a 3/4 shot.

My 9 iron. I played without one for almost a year so I figured out how to survive without it.

You have multiple gap wedges?!

Perhaps we should define gap wedge for you!  :-P

My left-handed chipper.  I use it, on average, about once every other round.  Other than that I'd say the putter.

Yeah.  It makes a little sense in context.

With my previous set of irons, I had trouble hitting quarter or half shots with them.  I acquired my current wedges then (through the member review program).  With my current ones (Ping G-400), I initially bought 5-P but found I could hit good partial shots with them.  I also had a substantial... well, gap, between full PW and my 50 degree wedge.  I ended up buying the U-iron (equivalent of a gap wedge, but iron design not wedge design).  I was going to remove the 50 and figure something out, but I couldn't figure a good replacement 14th club that I wanted, so now I have two.  One will be the first to come out when I figure out what I want to add (likely outcome:  eventually replacing one with a 60 degree, or replacing the 50 and 56 with a 54 and 58.  TBD).
