I would take the clothing. I am not a club ho, I only change irons every 5 or 6 years, Some years I don't change a thing in my bag. Not to mention, I am not faithful to one brand so that constriction alone would be a no go.

I could tear it up with unlimited golf clothes. I would choose a brand like Nike or Adidas and literally wear every item they put out. I wear golf clothes to work in as well, so it would be a win win.

Clubs. Easily. And probably Callaway as they are lefty friendly. Clothes? Hell I have underwear older than any clubs I have.😃

Definately clubs for me. I could do alot more with clubs (golfwise) than I could with clothing.

I'd take the clothes.   I don't believe I'd change clubs that often.   Sign me up for a new wardrobe every day. 

and for @Vinsk, I'd ask for a clean pair of underwear daily!  😉

At first I was thinking golf clubs, but then I realized clothing would be more valuable because good blue jeans are too darn expensive. If I got them for free I wouldn't have to worry too much either about which jeans are my "work jeans" and which are my "nice jeans", plus I could just toss them in the washer and dryer whenever I wanted without a care in the world. With those things in mind I'd probably be replacing my sets of jeans 2-5x in a year which would add up to $800-2,000 just in blue jeans, not counting shirts, jackets, and other clothing items. I probably go through 10-15 shirts a year that get either holes or permanent stains from the various work I do while wearing them, plus 1-2 hoodies and my jackets never seem to last more than 1-2 years before the zippers are toast.

For golf clubs realistically I'd get a new set of irons and wedges each year, but the issue is that I'd ideally like to have clubs from multiple manufacturers. Titleist would be the best brand for me using all of their clubs, but I'm partial to Mizuno irons and PING woods/drivers as it stand now anyways. Even still I'd be looking at a $1,200 iron set, $500 in wedges, and $500 in drivers per year or so just because replacing multiple times per year would be a hassle. 

If resale is allowed, though, then clothing becomes even more valuable. I'd just never wear anything I got from the manufacturer since the expensive stuff isn't what I generally would want to wear anyways.

Definitely clubs. I wear the same outfit five days a week, sometimes six or seven for work. I literally have five sets of the same exact shirt and pants. Unlimited clothing would be wasted on me.

I'd probably go with Callaway or Ping. I'd play a whole bag with either company except for my Edel wedges and putter. Nobody said I couldn't buy clubs from another manufacturer 😉

Clubs. I am not a fashion guy and basically have had the same 3 pair of golf shorts for five years. I don't change clubs that often either, but the value would be more for me. For shoes, I really need ones that fit right and they are hard to find for me, so it may be more than one manufacturer.

I would take the clubs option too. I like Uniqlo's for golf clothing though, it's just simple solids, no patterns. Clubs are more expensive as well. Not sure which brand though. I guess Titleist or Mizuno. I would complement my set by buying outside the brand like Bill. I could sell whichever unlimited supply clubs for clothing, lol.

Clubs.....  Even used ones can be sold for a few more $$ than the clothing...  1/2 price on a current top of the line set of irons is still about $500.00 + -...

I chose to post this question because I actually struggle to answer it. As many have said if you aren't a all one brand club guy, makes it a lot tougher. I am Cobra for all metal woods and hybrids, I am Mizuno for irons. I love my Edel putter. I can probably find a lot of wedges I like, but I've been loyal to Titleist Vokey for a long time now. 

So, as much as I'd love to continuously get a new supply of clubs, I'd probably choose the clothing. Even though a similar problem exists there. In that I'm a recent convert to TrueLinksWear shoes. 

Even so, I'm picking clothing. Now I have to decide between Nike and Under Armour.

I think, under the rules, you can still buy (pay for) items of clothing or shoes to supplement your free stuff.  BTW, which government program is paying for all this?  (Don't forget to vote today!)

Clothing because I'm a mixed bag: callawya rogue driver, Adams Tight Lies Titanium 3w, TM gapr 3h, Nike Vapor Speed 5h, Nike VR TW forged irons, Nike covert forged 2.0 gap wedge, Cleveland 56 and 60, and Seemore sb1 putter. 

Probably Ralph Lauren since they make  professional , casual, and golf wear.  I can't think of another company that hits all 3.  Nike is my my favorite, but they don't make professional attire I require.

Economically clothes are more sensible, but I'd get a lot more enjoyment out all the free gear (and I'm not much of a gear head at all).  With a good fitting, I'm sure both Titleist and Ping have something to my liking in every club category.

I’d take the clubs I suppose. I can give them away or sell them or something. Hell, give me 30 complete sets a year and my kid can go to college with no debts.

Would You Rather… #6: 1) Play at your preferred pace (say, 3½ or 4 hours) but at an inconvenient time for you, or 2) get your preferred tee times but be forced to play behind groups that take 5+ hours and won't ever let you play through?
