Yeah, I had a tee time for Monday and the course was closed due to snow.  The very next day the course opened as all the snow melted on Monday.

It was cold yesterday, but today is supposed to be 58. I will play at least 9 this afternoon.

Beauty of a day yesterday. it was mid 50s, but the sun was out and no wind. I played 27.

It really sucked waking this morning to a windshield full of frost. Now that I'm parking on the street, it has become one element of winter I really despise.

It seems like Long Island is heading towards a chilly fall. Played in an outing yesterday. It was chilly with a ton of wind.

I always get a bit melancholy this time of year because it gets dark early and the outdoor non-winter sport activity is coming to an end. I'll keep playing as long as I can, but then it's indoor practice after that.

Yeah, the seasons make me try and milk the summer as much as I can but sometimes you burn out, and wind up indoors when it's sunny outside. Hopefully the NOAA is wrong about El Niño.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Doesn't El Niño mean it will be warmer than usual?

I'm no weatherperson. I thought it meant more storms, snow. It's hate snow.

Ha ha. Don't kid yourselves. It's only a matter of time for those of you downstate.

I'm still heading out tomorrow if they let me on the course. Might have to wait until noon when it's supposed to "warm up" to a toasty 40°.

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
