Yeah, I almost wish he'd have not played the PGA, but maybe he really had to test himself out.

I'm curious too about the JP McManus thing he's playing before the British Open.

If he was physically fine, a leasurily warm-up the week before would be okay, but after seeing him twice this year, playing the week before The Open does sound weird. Especially considering how he has emphasized that playing golf strains his body and he has to cool down and whatnot after each round.

He can still WD from the pro-am, so we’ll see.

Well he has to make up for the high nine figures he turned down from LIV somehow!

I know nothing about the JP McManus thing, other than that JP is a very wealthy man who puts things like this on from time to time. I'm guessing it's going to be a short event that Tiger can play without worrying about tiring himself out or damaging his leg any, while still getting some competitive reps under his belt. But like I said, I know nothing 🤷‍♂️

It's okay, Tiger was at (and even won) the first US Open I went to, and I didn't get to see him except on the TV.  The closest to him I got was when I got to say hi to Todd Hamilton's caddie.

I got to see him at the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines, but I only went for the practice rounds.  Then I went home and watched him make history on the big screen.
