Truth be told, I've long since given up trying to match the "easy moves" of the top players in the world.

For some reason, the moves they consider easy, just aren't to me.

The problem with pin-seeking iron shots for me is that it usually means I didn't hit the ball at my intended target.  I'd say about ten times during a round at least I'll see a pin position and say "no thanks, I'll aim to get it center of the green instead of that side."

One can argue that it's great rotation that allows for a steady head and not necessarily the other way around.

Pretty sure there's a little more to being on the proper plane than this. How exactly does a right handed golfer get their right shoulder above the left just after impact anyway?

If you seek accuracy, copy Day's neutral grip (with the Vs pointing at the chin) and simply return it to neutral at impact. Use your right index finger as a guide—point it in the same direction both at setup and as you strike the ball.
