What Christmas Golf Gifts did you Get? 2017 Edition

I received 2 dozen TP5x balls and a hat my dad got me from Firestone CC when he played it this summer.

I bought myself grips on ebay. I have been wanting to buy pure grips and found a great deal. I was able to get 17 pure pro, 14 mimaya tour PC, 8 tour velvet supertack diamond, 3 boccieri secret, 2 golf pride new decade multi compound, 3 golf pride cp2 pro, 2 golf pride cp2 wrap, 1 golf pride tour tradition putter, 3 pure classic putter, 1 lamkin iline putter, 1 ping blackout putter, and 1 super stroke ultra thin putter. All for $65 with free shipping. All were new. I also bought myself a $2.99 airgun with needle attachment from Harbor Freight to blow on grips with (works like a charm). I really just wanted to get 13 pure pro grips, but all of this was about the same price. I like the feel of the mimaya's so much that I think that I will start with them. If I don't like them, I will just blow them off.  Sorry to be so wordy on my first post.

My boys got me a nice Callaway pullover for these chilly Florida days and a dozen ProV1x. TST sent me a damn nice golf towel (Players Towel)! And I renewed my annual club membership.

Not a huge amount this year as i asked family to buy for the kids (Hotwheels are more expensive than when i was a kid!)

Mum & Dad got me a ball stamper to mark my balls, wife got me a smart Huddersfield Town polo shirt that i can wear on the course and with the £20 my parents also gave my i bought the Puttout putting trainer.

I got a pretty good golf haul this year with golf related gifts from my wife, my parents, and her parents. 

2 dozen Chromesofts (my mom said she got these buy one get one free on black friday!)

3 dozen Callaway Diablo Tour (wife got these 3 for $40 on black friday as well)

Under Armor golf polo

Maxfli putting matt (a compromise with the wife since she wasnt too fond of me wanting to build my own putting green in the basement)

     Obviously this is for straight putts, but it has been perfect so far for allowing me to putt daily and get used to the Super Stroke grip that I put on a few weeks ago.

My wife told me to go ahead and get a Cobra FlyZ 4-5H that I found on eBay. It has the 73-gram senior flex shaft which matches the 3-4H that I got a year ago. Got it for $55, looks like a slightly used demo.

I'm lofting the 3-4H down to 19° and setting the 4-5H at 22°. Thus, my new 4H is 3/4" shorter than the 3-4H I played at 22°. Early flight appears to be minimal loss of distance, with more consistency.

I need to put the two on a launch monitor to fine-tune the yardage gaps. Home course practice range sets atop a hill, so it's not very useful for gauging club distance.

After I also gauge the FWs and things settle down, I'll probably drop the 7W or 3H or 4i to get down to 14 clubs.

A dozen orange balls. I am normally a plain white guy, but these are nice contrast on dormant Bermuda.

750ML of Woodford Reserve. Y'all decide the golf application. Nice for after the round on chilly days; might even invest in a flask but I have never done that. Actually, it is probably a six month or better supply for me, but I do enjoy the occasional 2 fingers over six ice cubes.
