If you have GHIN, or a handicapping service that tracks your rounds, post below:

1. How many rounds you played in 2017

2. What was your average score

3. Your high and low rounds.

Here is mine on the very bottom. (Just now getting used to the new Blue color used by Florida State Golf Association. Arkansas was green for me until yesterday.

I started GHIN this past August, so since then I had 36 rounds. My guess would be somewhere between 50-60 rounds for the whole year- I played a lot of rounds before August and some “hit-a-few-extra” rounds, too. High:100 Low: 70 Avg: 84.8.

I don't keep an official handicap, no need really but I do keep track of my rounds played.

This year I only played 82 rounds (which didn't include 9 hole rounds).

My worst round was 104 in front of the Michigan Meet and Greet at College Fields.   :~(

My best was an 82 at Flint Golf Club.

My average was 88

I don't really know, other than it was well over 100. I think at one point I was averaging 45 holes a week.

Had a few weeks where I didn't play due to illness. Other weeks I would play 72 holes.

The catching up after the illnesses cost me some handicap strokes. That, and  messing around with my old gamers. I'll get those strokes back this year. My home course just put out new pricing. $10 to walk, $23 to ride. Can't complain about those prices.

I estimate 85 rounds with an average of 95.

The courses played vary quite a bit in difficulty. The easier ones had a lot of scores in the 80s. The tougher ones could be anywhere from 90-105. Then there was the spat where I didn't score at all because of the shanks. I don't have hard data.

77 times. Averaged 79.62. High round 90. Low round 72. Both were on the same course from the same tees.

Getting back to playing on a regular schedule has been good for my game. Started playing at least once a week with a group in mid-April. So this year I'll most likely have over 100 rounds.

Game Golf has me at 38 rounds, which is pretty good - average is +8.9. I just need to find ways of getting some cards in (mostly I play with friends, on my own or at other courses) to get that handicap reflecting my actual scoring... Problem is that most comps are on Saturdays or weekdays, which leaves only holiday times for me as I work 6 days a week. A problem I want to solve this year though.

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

  • Got in 27 rounds this year.
    • Three rounds in March, then none until early May.
    • Four week gap in July-August.
  • Average = 95.1
  • High = 108 // Low = 88 (shot it three times)

I had two tournament rounds in which I shot 92.

Infuriation factor: most rounds had at least two triple bogies; can't seem to shake it.

I posted 83 scores to GHI, averaged 79.8, high of 90, low of 71.  I managed to hole out with hybrid twice, once for an ace in an interclub match, and once for an eagle 2 on the hardest hole at Stoneleigh.  My handicap reached its historic low of 1.8 in August.

Was just looking over some info. 130.5 rounds played.

Lowest recorded score was a 75 on a par 70. Had some birds that day.

Highest recorded score was 95 on a par 72 couse. I shot 95 twice. Once in 2+ club wind storm. The other was a first round back after 2 weeks of having the flu.

Had 3, par 5 eagles. Missed a couple par 3 hole in ones by a few inches. Also had some double pars.

Toughest course I played was again Spyglass. (89) I can never relax on that critter. Fun to play though.

Wow, you guys played some serious golf last year. My new years res is to get out more. Due to familycommitments and a pretty serious brain aneurysm (plus getting smacked of my face on Tramadol, that stuff is strong!!) i played about 10 times but since recovery late summer have been practicing every day so its looking good.

Still, dont think i'll match you golf addicts :-D

I played a lot if golf by myself this year so I’d say the number is closer to 70 rounds. I’m pleased with that average of 72.7, I honestly thought it was closer to 73.5. My dispersion is also very consistent. I’d like to stay out of the 80’s though. Too bad the 66 I just shot the other day won’t count becuase it’s off season.

23 rounds is the most I've played in a single year since before I started keeping a handicap. 104 came from an ESC-heavy round at Stoneleigh (oddly enough, it was the second day when the weather was better and I was more familiar with the course).

    • Day 206 3-11 Focused on wider backswing and reconnecting arm in downswing. Wasn't really happy with how swing was looking today. Wider backswing is very different for me. Went back to do a some longer pauses at the top. Hit a few foam balls.
    • This is an awesome breakdown. most of the bigger tournaments usually have one wave with the advantage, Thank you for the breakdown. If it is soft then it will be a lower final score
    • Over the past 15 years, the winning score has ranged from -10 to -20. Mostly around -13.  Here is Thursday and Friday weather. Saturday and Sunday weather. I think the course will play soft. Plenty of sky cover, lots of rain on Thursday. Fairways and greens will probably stay soft throughout the week.  In terms of tee times, I think Thursday morning and Friday afternoon have the biggest advantage. I am thinking 12 or 13 under
