It appears Taylor Swift needs to post a swing video in the Member Swings section.  From Golf.com

Taylor Swift takes a swing at her on-screen beau's car in her video for "Blank Space."

Did you know that aside from serving golfers with a nice approach shot, a 9-iron is also an excellent tool for beating up motor vehicles?

Taylor Swift is the latest celebrity to take her crazy out on a car with a golf club…and we’re kind of thrilled about it.

In a leaked video for her new single “Blank Space,” Swift parodies media criticism of her being a ‘crazy girlfriend,’ at separate times wielding an axe, a knife and yes, what is perceived to be a rather nice 9-iron.

You can see the entire video for yourself here.

Nick Faldo can relate. In a 2002 USA Today article, Faldo recounts an episode of his at-times rocky personal life, involving ex-girlfriend and former University of Arizona golfer Brenna Cepelak. Cepelak reportedly let loose on Faldo’s Porsche during their breakup in 1998.

“It was a 9-ron or a wedge,” Faldo said in the interview. “It was a very special car. It was so high-tech, it was made of plastic. The club kept bouncing off. It wouldn’t leave a dent. I auctioned it off last year. It was a nice end to that part of my life.”

Interesting grip, looks a bit like Utley's putting grip.

She needs to stop at the turn for hotdogs more often.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

The iron to the expensive sports car. When did this become a cliche? Probably started in the 70s.

I have yet to listen knowingly to a Taylor Swift/Katy Parry/Lady Gaga song. I probably have, just didn't know it was them. Get off my lawn!

Taylor Swift's new song is actually not bad.

Now I have to go listen to Motörhead for an hour to cleanse myself.

Key number 1 is way off. She could do much better. Looks like she did at least $2500 in damage though. Not bad.

Needs to release the 4th Accumulator faster, that'll keep her head more steady on the downswing.

Agree with Nate ... her head movement is off the charts!!

It looks like she's trying to "chop" out of a heavy lie there. I would recommend an unplayable lie in her situation, as it's hard to get enough swing speed to power through an engine block. It might be a movable obstruction if the guy left his parking brake off though.

It does appear as though she's choking down on the grip quite a bit.

We could have the next Anthony Kim on our hands! Let's hope she hasn't bought a house in Vegas quite yet.

@nevets88 Broseph, don't be lumping Taylor Swift in with my girl Katy Perry. Katy can actually sing (Gaga can as well), Trayler cannot.

Ha ha, I'm sorry, I just know these are the artists getting all the headlines and social media attention.

I find it hard not to like any musician given I listen to enough of his/her work.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
