I saw this video and want to ask. What is your favorite snack chip, not just flavor but the brand and type. Though in some cases I am sure a type can trump brand so that could work as well.

For me I would go with Dorito's Cool Ranch as my top spot. I know the Nacho Cheese is more popular. This brand and type is a favorite of mine from childhood. I could go through a bag of those really fast. I love adding these to a basic cold cut sandwich for crunch and flavor. Multi-tasker!

A really close second would be any good Kettle Cooked potato chip.

Jalapeno flavored, and nothing else..........Period. The crunchier the better. My wife usually makes a quart zip-lock bag full by baking the jalapeno juice soaked potatoe slices. She even bakes corn tortilla chips the same way.

Kettle brand honey dijon chips. Haven't seen them in store by me in a long time, though. Archer Farms (Target's store brand) makes good tortilla chips.

Dried seaweed. Also my wife buys fried sugar snap peas that are awesome. Those two items have replaced about 95% of chip consumption. If it is going to be chips, it'll plain Lays or Hawkin's Cheezies.

I like plain potato chips the best. All of the flavorings taste good the first few chips to me and then give me a horrible aftertaste. Almost like a hollow feeling. I'm not that picky with brands. Lays, Kettle, Cape Cod, Dirty. Even some store brands are pretty good.

The type of tortilla chips you get from Chipotle. Thin, lightly salted. Nothing fancy. Any of the major brands, like Doritos, my body does not agree with them.

Tri-Sum original. Have only had them once in the last 10 plus years (someone sent me a case as a birthday gift)

The one thing I miss about living up north was stocking up on them when visiting my family.

Plain Lay's Potato chips.  I guess it's called Lay's Classics now?

Haven't had those since I gave up on junk food 5 years ago.

I don't understand the appeal of salt and vinegar chips in the slightest.
