Yesterday I was a little surprised at the start and the scoring not being as low as I thought. Today is the opposite. They’re making Bellerive look like the John Deere. Birdies going in all over the place. Kisner eyeing a 61 or 62.

So are Koepka and Schwartzel.

This is a cool montage, that is all. Personally, I would have put JT on the left. Highest hands, middle, lowest.

63s by them. There is no way that Grace's 62 holds up by the end of this weekend. I'd be willing to bet money that there is at least 1 62 by week's end and more money that someone goes even lower. Hell, Finau just ran off 4 birdies in the first 4 holes so it could be him. Especially with rain in the forecast later today.

Awful coverage. TNT the worst. Commercials are out of hand.

It’s interesting that even two guys who are know for hitting it incredibly far for their size get it done in completely different ways.  Very behind him and “one-plane”ish for Rory and arms incredibly high for Justin.

Tiger of course sitting there in completely textbook position.

About as good a featured group as I could ask for:  Tiger, Rory and Justin T

Why the hell did they let Breed in on the commentary?  Now I have to leave it on mute.  Forever.

Keegan Bradley, what the heck happened to him? Felt like he disappeared.

I don't mind Woodland, he's a jock, looks and carries himself like an athlete with a big dick, not like a pencil necked girly man like a Webb Simpson or whatever.

That's the start he needed. Now let's see if he keeps it up.

That was what I said yesterday. TNT's run by a bunch of grade "A" holes...

What's with the ShotLink on pgatour.com this week? It's often a hole behind the live action.

Edit: The one at pga.com seems to be quicker.

I don't want shot tracer if it's this one.

    • No rain while I was out (9am to 11:30am). Fairly pleasant for a late November day in the Mitten.
    • Day 56 - 2024-11-25 Did the BAD Challenge and hit a bunch more other little shots. This was one of the closer shots.
    • 70 today. The number looks good but, the course is a par 67 (5,110 yards, 64.3/115.). While the 70 took quite a few good shots to achieve, I am not counting that as shooting my age.
    • Played our town’s executive course this morning. Everything is closing but for now Huron Hills remains open. #13 is shaped like an upside down backwards L (dogleg left). Only 231 yard par 4. Dogleg has a tree guarding the corner and a sand bunker guards the green for those cutting the dogleg. Tiny green. About 10 years ago or more I would try to cut the dogleg. The hole is so short that even if one tangled with the tree or was bunkered, par was likely and birdie was still on the table. Now in my 70’s, I just hit it straight and try to wedge it close for birdie. Today I screwed up and pulled my drive. I wandered around a bit when my ball was not in the bunker. Finally located it on the approach to the green. Almost chipped in and tapped in the 2 inches for birdie. Best unintentional shot of the week. 😲
