Since putter is excluded I voted for 2. Majority of the time I use my 52 or 58. When the shot calls for it I'll chip/pitch with other clubs but it's rare.

I chose 5 or more.  I use my 58 for almost all pitches, but will use a variety of clubs using the method below. Plus I will use a fairway or hybrid for those specialty fringe shots.

I generally use a 9 iron for the above, but I will vary depending on the length and slope.

90% of my chipping/pitching is done with my PW (45) or GW (50).  The other 10% is probably split equally between an 8i and my 56 degree SW.  My thought process is to try to get really comfortable with one or two clubs around the green.

SW nearly all the time, but occasionally I'll hit a 64* wedge, all depending on the situation. I used to bump and run the ball a lot more around the greens with a 7I, or the occasional 4H if it was a long green. But I find I'm more accurate (AKA likely to hole it) chipping with a SW rather than bump and running.

For tight lie close chipping I always use my low bounce LW.

For grassy lies and bunkers I use my high bounce SW.

For tight lie longer chips I use PW or 9i.

If I have a lot of green to work with I'll use my 8I, if not, I use either my SW or GW.

I voted 2, but plan to experiment a bit more this year.

I have an old wedge that for several years, I haved used for most of my shots around the green, actually from 75-80 yards in. I don't know the loft-I just know I can't play without it. Last year I expanded and started using my pitching wedge, which is basically like a "10 iron"-it looks just like my 9 but shorter and more loft- for a greater number of shots from tight lies and where I wanted some roll. This year I plan to experiment a bit more and use my 8 or 7 more, and vary the types of shots I use for different situations.

Just 1, 60°, from 80 or 85 in. Would like to use more but don't have the time to practice. I do get frustrated cuz it seems when I want the ball to check, it runs out and when I want it run out, it checks. A 9 or 8 would be much more predictable and a better option at times but whenever I try one, I send it way by the hole. So, until I find the time to gain some comfort with another club or 2, I'll stick with my trusty Vokey.

- 50°:  Use for 75% of my greenside mid to long chips.

- 54°:  Use for short sided chips

- 58°:  Use when need to get out of trouble or if the ball is sitting down / greenside rough is very deep.

5 or more... all depending on lie, situation, distance, etc... Use the 3,5,7 wds if the grass is relatively smooth but 'grabby', and plenty of room to the hole. Lob,PW, etc.. if there is trouble in front to flop it over. 7-9 for normal chipping or if I need a 'fizz check' stop shot. 10-15 ft over smooth well maintained grass would be a putter with a bit of topspin getting it to roll over the grass.

9-lob. I prefer to keep the ball on the ground if possible. If I can run it out I choose based on distance it has to travel. In the rough with not much green a 54 or 58.

Generally speaking 3.  If the grass is tight and there are no obstructions, I'll break out the hybrid.  For thicker grass, a PW.  And for a shot with carry over a bunker or to a back pin, SW.

I would say three but could be more, but mainly PW if playing a bump and run from the fringe, 56 if playing a shot that requires a forced carry from a tight lie and 60 degree from the rough.

If I had a 58, I'd only play a 58 because I can lob or chip with it around greens fairly easily. The issue with the 60 is consistency on longer chips, so I've got to take the 55 and 60 with me greenside when evaluating the situation.

This makes me think about changing my setup to a 52, 58, 62 (from my 45, 50, 55, 60) since I rarely use the 50 and adjusting the 45 to 46 (like that will make a difference - lol). The 62 is about as high as I like. I'm no Phil - I've sold several 64's after thinking they might work - nada.

I keep it pretty simple. Generally I use my 60 or my 52 around the green depending on how I see the shot.  I will most often use my 57 out of the bunker.

I tend to use my 52 or 56 when I am pitching into a slope. I use my 56 to 60 degree when pitching across a slope or down a slope. I like a little roll out on my pitches, so I try to not to get too much loft when pitching into slopes.

I would say 80% of the time I am using my 56 degree.

It is tough to use the sand wedge around here in the dry winters as lots of lies are hard pan lies.  The bounce can be disastrous if not hit on the button.  Good article in Golf Digest on bounce in a recent issue.

    • Day 120 - Played 18; much better than yesterday. Miss right now is off the heel of the club, so I need to sort that out.
    • Today we played Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, NH. Course was in great shape but my game didn't show up. I will say I pitched and chipped fairly well but almost everything else was very hit or miss. Cost myself a lot hitting an in play drive with pulling my approach shots maybe 85% of the time. Finally figured out I had been swaying most of the round. Only took me until 13 to figure it out. Used what felt like a much more centered turn and the ballstriking improved. 18 tomorrow using a 2 man scramble format. Just looking to contribute. Been a blast though.
    • Day 22: Hit balls with 7-iron using mevo+ to track dispersion. Was out for a long time after work; 86 balls but the first 50+ were 50% swings focusing on top of backswing feel and then just hitting the ball as a psychic reward. Finished with 20 balls close to full speed. Pretty happy with dispersion and also no horrendous misses. I’m chunking my priority piece out into two separate feels, first and more important is the position/balance at top of backswing which is what I was working on. Once I have that engrained I’ll move to transition part.
    • FWIW I never really had issues with the previous generation of Snells. But… I'm not sure I played them a ton, either.
    • I know Dean Snell designed the original Pro V along with a couple of other brands tour balls.  How exactly does the Snell ball have problems.  Did he change something in the design or is a manufacturing error since he cannot afford the unlimited R&D budgets of the big manufacturers to iron out flaws
