I'm happy for him.

Also, I revoke what I said about the fiance.

What did you say? Sweet Jesus, if my wife was not sitting right next to me I would have picked up the phone and gave that cameraman a good chewing for not showing more of that handkerchief, I mean skirt, she was wearing.

I was going to say, "No dethroning Monty," but then I saw the adjective "active."

Don't want to beat a dead horse and this is no fault of Garcia but the lag videos are gonna come out in force probably, the win usually brings into play a lot of people on the range pulling down the handle tomorrow.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Haha exactly right. And I have little sympathy for them :-D

Great post-round interview by Rose... total class act.

Well a long time coming.  Many disappointments along the way.   But, he is now the Masters Champ.  Good for him. Rose played fine.  Every golfer knows that some shots just don't come off the club right. I thought that the CBS coverage technically was fine.  The announcing /blithering/filling the air with drivel borders on cruelty.  Maybe it's just me getting cranky in my dotage. Congrats Sergio

Congrats to Sergio! He held it together when he faced adversity. 13 was key when he had to take an unplayable lie penalty. I thought he was done then and there, but managed to scrape out a par and stay in the hunt!

Hard to imagine a better finish, but the guys who were really close (Ricky and Jordan) didn't do anything! The only guys who made big moves were too far off the pace at the start of the round to make a difference. Kuchar and Paul Casey to name a couple.

When she took off her sunglasses she turned out to be not nearly as hot as I thought she was

I didn't see her face. Probably best. Rest looked good.

Finally a Major for Sergio. Well deserved.

Sergios swing is one of the ones I watch, over and over.

I bet his engagement to the hottie was pretty helpful.

I can't believe he missed the put on 18 for the play-off...I almost had a heart attack.

    • A sand trap is not supposed to have 3 inches of water in it. To me that’s temporary, casual water. Just like if your ball lands in a deep rain puddle in the middle of the fairway. I would have gladly hit out of any spot in that bunker. I understand that it’s a different rule. I just think it’s a dumb rule. You are penalized because it rained.  Here’s what I think is the dumbest rule in golf, and all sports for that matter - professionals playing for millions of dollars in a tournament have to carry around a little pencil and scorecard to keep their score and sign it, when there are big scoreboards all over the course and on tv. Can you imagine the Knicks losing because they didn’t count their score correctly? Like I said, I love the game, but it’s time to move into the 21st century already.
    • Sorry to lose you, thx for letting us know
    • I have to bow out for the weekend. I was only in for Saturday as it was
    • Could course committee have an MLR option to declare this bunker GUR?
    • Sorry, I will disagree. You got a penalty because you hit it somewhere and didn't want to play it from there. Bunkers are not the general area. If you had hit it into temporary water in the general area, you'd be entitled to relief. You hit it into a hazard, a bunker. Why should you get free relief when you hit it into a bunker? If someone else hit it into a different part of the bunker, without water, they'd not get a drop for free out of the bunker. Heck, it'd cost them two strokes if they didn't have an ACC and wanted to drop it out of the bunker.
