I am super worried for DJ. I hope I am proven just stupid wrong but this ain't his tourney anymore... I think his short game touch will be more affected than the long which considering projected weather will have to be sharp.

The reports this morning were trending positive for him.  Said it was only a couple stairs he slipped on and that he rested well last night.  I'd love to see him healthy and play well.

On a separate note, maybe I am not in the best of moods this week from all the Lexi discussion, but does anybody else find the Par 3 contest a bit lame?

Seems just a little too self serving with the 'tradition' and all. The kids running around is certainly cute but that's one aspect of Masters I wouldn't care about if it got truncated or a bit less pandering.

So glad to hear that there are good reports on DJ. That would've really sucked if he was really hurt. He's not out of the tourney yet!

It's more fun to speculate?  And I think some people like to see that hugely successful guy with a (some say) hot wife actually be flawed.

As fans we get lied to (or at least fibbed too) quite often by agents. They have their right to tell whatever story they want just like we have every right to be skeptical of it. But it does help breed some of the cynicism here.

That said, I was skeptical of the story when it was sounding like it might cause DJ to miss the event. Now that it sounds like he's still a go, I no longer have a reason to doubt it.

I think its fun to watch.  Its fun to watch the players with their kids/families having fun and its memories that the kids will never forget.  Its all for fun and to spend time with the family before the real grind begins the next day.

I think it's cool, though maybe it gets too much press coverage.  Keep it small, intimate and for the players/families/guests; we don't need to know every detail of every event they're doing for Masters week.

If you happen to be in front of the TV on a Wednesday afternoon it beats watching Dr. Phil or Maury.

I won't rearrange my schedule to watch it but I'll happily have it on in the background.

I did the same exact thing in my masters pool.  It helped that JD got good news with his mom, so he might have an extra boost while playing, while who knows how DJ's slight injury will effect his performance.  He gets a lot of lag and with a slight back injury, his timing may get off, but we'll see by this afternoon.

So there's a Masters app for Apple TV, anyone know if there's one for Roku? I don't see one for Amazon's Fire TV.
