Last Sunday I played a round in San Diego starting at 11 am. I was tired and thirsty so I went with sugar free Monster drinks on the rocks. What a mistake. I didn't realize until later the temp hit 100 that day. I was felling sick by the end of the round. I believe the Monster was actually dehydrating.

Some drink beer and I don't see how they do that with out screwing up their swing.

Pure water is boring.

Gatorade? Good enough for the NFL.

I use old Taylor Made clubs from eBay and golf shops.

G2 grape Gatorade for me. Drink half and top off with water, do this twice and consume 20oz g2 20oz water.

Normally carry 2 drinks. I'll have plain water and a bottle of isotonic drink. I'll take a drink of both every hole or so to keep me hydrated.

water and G2 if it's hot. On some really hot rounds, I've had one G2 and two waters per nine holes.

When we did 36 holes in Phoenix for the Newport Cup, it was water, and more water.  The club had ice machines at the clubhouse and at each of the on-course restroom locations, so it was ice water whenever possible.  At home I'll sometimes start with a Gatorade or something similar, and keep refilling that bottle whenever I pass a water cooler.  I save the beer drinking for the end of the day.

I carry a 32 oz Gatorade and refill once with water on the front 9. On the back I add G2 powder for the next one ... last one is water ... all that equals a gallon, which is my goal. In the desert if I drink beer, I get a headache really really bad afterwards. I have to stay hydrated in the desert heat.

Water or Gatorade to start. If the front 9 goes ok I stick with water if not its Jack and coke or a good microbrew.

Depends on the time of day.  If it's a early tee time on the weekend, a cup of coffee and 2 bottles of Grape Propel, refilled once each.  I usually hit up the cart girl for a Spicy Bloody Mary at some point.  If it's before one of my afternoon 9-hole leagues, I'll have a pre-match beer with my partner and then 2 bottles of water during the match.  I can't drink a lot of beer in the Florida heat, I get a headache pretty quick.

During the round: water, around 1,5 liter for 18 holes. On colder days, aroudn 1 liter.

After a round, I avoid beer. It gives me headdache. Most of the time, I drink a so called Yellow Peter (I do not know why it's called that way), it is a mix of orange juice with tonic. Sometimes, a glass of whit wine. But that's it.

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
