I don't understand people being obsessed with other people's sex lives.  Whether it's sports, politics, entertainment, or otherwise.

When it results in a wife Fing a player up with a 3 wood and taking 300mil back home to Switzerland, the story kinda gains legs past the sexual content. Just saying that it's not exactly one's "sex life" that's the story.

Apologies in advance to our international friends here but I only hope an American wins this year's tourney.

Lots of Brits in the small field, all short on majors, so I'd be thrilled if any of them can do it. My hunch though is Bubba Watson, who's has the game and the form. Obviously Tiger managing #15 would also make a great spectacle.

Exciting times.

Don't count out Rose. He has flown under the radar but is playing well.

Not sure I would say Rose is flying under radar. A lot of people picking him which is why I’m nervous about picking him in my Masters pool.

Whether or not you (or anyone else) picks him has no impact on how he is going to do :-P

That being said, it wouldnt surprise me if someone like him was in contention late Sunday, especially with a ton of attention being on the "bigger" names if you will like Tiger, DJ, Rory, etc.

The stats suggest that Day’s iron play has been his only weakness this season. He’s ranked 106th in greens hit and 183rd in strokes gained: approach the green.

“Hopefully with this current change that will slowly bring everything in,” he said, “and give myself a few more opportunities on the greens.”

Not sure that it will help that much. 183rd in strokes gained approach to the green is not good for Augusta.

That seems more like he's been way off than a little off. Who knows, maybe the new irons will bring a confidence boost.

Yeah, I picked Justin to finally get it done this year.

I just hope it's someone I care about watching is in the hunt on Sunday. When Danny Willett won two years ago it was a snooze fest. I mean who the hell is Danny Willet? (Well besides the 2016 Masters Champion :hmm:) Sergio's win last year was cool. The Bubba Watson wins were fun to watch, Speith's win was good. All of Mickelson's were fun to watch. Charl Schwartzel's win, not so much.

MAJOR CHAMPION: There are 20 guys who, at their best, play like Tiger did in 2000. At least physically.

I thought this was an interesting quote from the article Erik posted. Just shows the difference in the strength and depth of the fields on the PGA Tour from then and now. And I think you can attribute a lot of that to Tiger, he made golf cool, he brought more true athletes into the sport.

Couples told the Golf Channel that Woods and Mickelson were on the same team and didn't have much problem handling Couples and Pieters. Tiger eagled both par 5s on the back.

"They had two eagles and several birdies. They enjoyed beating us badly," Couples said. "I feel bad for Thomas. I couldn’t help Jack Nicklaus in his prime today.”

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
