Tiger has still only ever won the Masters when the Players was held in March.

This could be bad news, as Tiger has only won the PGA Championship when it was played in August :naughty:

Oh no, he's also only won the Open Championship when it's played in Great Britain! 😉

Koepka also went in the water at the 12th and made double bogey, so Tiger outsmarted him too. Koepka arguably wins the jacket without that massive mental error.

How good is this no-name Koepka guy?  If he keeps this up in majors he might make a name for himself one day.

Sorry this photo doesn't frame very well - but as much as the photo of Tiger celebrating after making the putt on 18 has been publicized, I think this one does a pretty good job of showing when he really won The Masters. (stolen from Michael Clayton's twitter)

I really thought the green jacket was Koepka's for the taking after he saved par at 10 and Tiger bogied it. Both of them hit poor tee shots on that hole, but Brooks was lucky enough to have a shot to the green while Tiger had to chip out and take the bogey medicine.

It was stunning to see Koepka go in the water at 12. He played very hard from 13 through 18 and showed a lot of resilience after the watery grave on 12. Just couldn't hole the putts he needed to hole on 15, 17, and 18.

I see him winning quite a few more majors.  Maybe a lot more.

He's just stone cold... cold.  Doesn't approach it like most.

This was GREAT - he'd walk up and check out some part his putt when someone was prepping their approach.  Then walk back out of the way for the shots......just to make sure they saw him up there.  He's wiley.

TV Stats:

CBS covered 69 of the 70 strokes from winner Tiger Woods (skipping only a tap-in putt on hole #1). Francesco Molinari actually received coverage for 70 shots. His final score of 74 included two penalty strokes, so CBS only bypassed two of his shots (a layup on 15 and his tee shot on 17). Brooks Koepka and Tony Finau were spotlighted for 59 shots each. Those four players accounted for 57% of the televised shots.

Dustin Johnson got 10 shots for his runner-up finish. More here:

And all of Tiger's shots:
