Whenever you feel like it, pop in to this topic and say something you like about other members. Don't post an exhaustive list (hell, if I did that, I'd be typing for a few days straight), but post a few, say a few good things, and get out. You can always come back another day to say more.

If you're excluded by anyone, don't take it badly. Like I said, I'm going to exclude a few hundred people I appreciate in my first post… it's just not practical. I will specifically though call out my appreciation for all of our mods. I don't have the time to do it individually right now, but they're all very helpful and great contributors.

In no order, other than that I may have happened to see their posts recently, or seen a PM, or something…

@ncates00, who I appreciate won't back down on his opinions, but also isn't so completely stubborn that he won't possibly change them and avoids feeling personally attacked and lashing back out. He seems to understand that we can all have different opinions, fight pretty hard for them, and then just move on to something else, and that we probably agree on more than is what is said because TST isn't really a place where we have a lot of "I agree" type posts. People only generally post when they disagree.

@dennyjones, for welcoming new members like it's his job, and being so kind and nice and helpful.

@Vinsk, similar to @ncates00, for being able to argue and disagree and not take it personally, and to give it almost as good as he gets it sometimes. I'd play golf with him in a heartbeat (I just wouldn't stand forward and left of him), as I would with most everyone here.

@Asheville and @Rulesman have always been very much appreciated for their rules knowledge, and @Asheville (when he's not bitching about auto-merging posts) in particularly lately for his daily quizzes and questions. More of you should visit the Rules forum and check those out.

Now, your turn!

Thank you Vinsk.  Did you see my mention of you in the Perfect Course thread?

I would like to compliment everyone on this forum for helping to keep me sane during my 9 months of elbow injury and during this Covid-19 time of spending waaaaay too much time at home.

I'd also like to thank everyone for putting up with me...

Thanks @Vinsk!! Still low-key chapped at you for bailing on golf last month...but I understand

And that brings me to @David in FL and @GolfLug for being two of the most fantastic and generous forumerists when I've visited Florida and Virginia

Hey cool thread.

To @iacas, @CarlSpackler , @Vinsk, and others who I'm sure I'm forgetting I'd like to say I appreciate that you all have disagreed with me and discussed it like an adult without being offended.

To @Double Mocha Man, @dennyjones and @boogielicious for being of a similar mind and sense of humor.

To @klineka, @Bonvivant and @CarlSpackler for agreeing to play a scramble with me which would have happened yesterday, but alas no... We will have to do it some time in the future... you too, @saevel25

Again, this is a cool thread. I look forward to adding more shout outs later.

Thanks to @iacas for having a place to talk about all things golf.

I "like" about everyone here, I've never met anyone here in real life but from the contributions made everyone for the most part seems like good people. I wonder how many people here have a mullet.

Shout out to @boogielicious for helping keep politics out of here, so easy to do right now.

@Cantankerish for his avatar, @Vinsk, @David in FL for being part of the Florida crowd's daily insights.

And a special thanks to anyone who has posted in a thread I started. Checks in the mail.

@dennyjones, my fellow Michigander.  Setup our "Club" ... Michigan Golf, gives we Mitten Dwellers a heads up when a good golf deal is available, and generally helps keep the chatter going.

@Asheville for helping us learn and understand the Rules a bit better.

And of course @GolfLug for mentioning me! Back at you.

Man, it's tough to hit everyone up individually, this site has been an important part of my golfing life for nearly 15 years (minus a short hiatus a few years back).

So just to name a few folks who I appreciate their content @David in FL, @Vinsk, @boogielicious, @billchao, @nevets88, @Pretzel, @DeadMan, and of course @iacas. I'm sure I left a few off and I am sorry for that.

I'm not hardly that old!   (jk).    I didn't know this site existed or wasn't really interested in improving my golf game before I joined.    I now spend way too much time on here but wth, I've got the time now.

This site is fantastic.   @iacas, @boogielicious, @billchao and the other mods keep everyone in line and for that I'm extremely grateful.   I enjoy a good argument...not really .. but they allow for educated discussions w/o a lot of nasty talk.   It's easy sitting behind a computer to let your emotions go unchecked and say something you wouldn't say to a person you just met.   Thanks to you guys.

I always look forward to seeing posts from @DaveP043, his golf education shows in his posts.   I especially pay attention when @mvmac posts.  His post posts are very educational and enlightening.   Not to say that Erik's aren't (because they are) but Mike doesn't show up everyday like Erik.   I pay attention when @billchao talks, I believe we could be friends just like @Vinsk.     There are so many people that contribute to this forum to make it what it is, I'd be here all day listing the people that post worthwhile stuff even if it's just the numbers game.

I really get excited to see fellow "Mitten" members post.   @bkuehn1952, @tlazzol, @criley4way and others.

To all of the long term members, my heart felt "Thanks" to you.

First, @iacas who changed my golf game completely. From my swing thread, playing a round together as part of a TST outing, LSW, Evolvr, giving me my first in person lesson ever at his facility in Erie, reading and rereading the topics in the Swing Thoughts section, etc, etc the list goes on and on. I can say without a doubt I am a significantly better golfer today than I was prior to finding TST and meeting Erik.

Next comes the numerous members I have met in person and golfed with or just had a drink with. I think this is everyone, sorry if I left anyone out! @saevel25 @DaveP043 @georgep @Carl3 @vasaribm

I also really enjoy reading about how other players work on their games, and I especially like to hear the thoughts of lower handicap players and see how my game stacks up to some of them. Guys like @NM Golf @mvmac @Double Mocha Man @Pretzel @phillyk @coachjimsc are some of the first that come to mind.

I'm sure I'll be adding to this thread in the future, there are a ton of great members on here.

One thing I really like about this group and this forum is the "Numbers Thread". I'm not sure why but I always click when somebody posts a new number.

So, special thanks to:

@dennyjones, @snapfade, @boogielicious, @commishbob, @dagolfer18, @iacas, @KEEPITSIMPLE, @NM Golf, @Vinsk, @JGus, @RoberX, and @IowaGreg for continually keeping the numbers thread going.

…. Even if @dennyjones sometimes posts way too many battleships.
